The Lotus Seed is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing yoga, movement, and art to the community through outreach programs and continuing education. Become a Yoga Teacher! Join The Lotus Seed School for Yoga Teacher Training! This exciting class is designed to inspire anyone interested in becoming a certified yoga instructor. This complete yoga teacher course is an eclectic mixture of classical and contemporary techniques. The curriculum instruction is based on Vinyasa flow, a powerful and dynamic system that combines asana, pranayama and meditation. Students will learn how to instruct and set up classes; how to utilize verbal cues and when to use hands on corrections. In addition, students will gain a deeper understanding of the science of the body with a detailed study of the purpose and benefit of each asana.
