Consists of easy movements, long stretches and deep breathing, meant to calm and revitalize. The class moves at a gentler pace with thorough instruction and attention to detail. Students begin to understand the fundamental principles of breathing and yoga postures. The class includes Mantra chanting (Sanskrit sound formula for well-being) and ends with a delicious relaxation pose (Shavasana). The class is created to offer the experience of traditional, spiritual and transformative aspects of a yoga practice where you will be encouraged to listen to the song that is uniquely you. This class is appropriate for students of every ability, age, and fitness level. No prior knowledge of Yoga required.
