Kundalini Yoga is a dynamic form of yoga that combines breath, movement, meditation, rhythmic sound and deep relaxation. It is practical for the average person, because it works to release tension and energize in a short period of time, regardless of degree of flexibility or experience.
These classes are taught in the tradition of Yogi Bhajan who first brought Kundalini Yoga to the west in 1969. This yoga is taught in specific sequences of exercises (kriyas) that create optimum health by strengthening the immune system, balancing the glands and creating a heightened level of awareness.
Classes are held at the GRD Yoga and Meditation Center in Dunwoody, GA. Co-directors of GRD are Mukta Kaur Khalsa and Gurusahay Singh Khalsa who bring a combined 80+ years experience as students and teachers of Kundalini Yoga to their classes. We have weekly classes in Kundalini and Hatha Yoga as well as special workshops every month. Please visit our website for a complete course and fee schedule.
We also sponsor Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training Levels 1 and 2.
