The Chicago Yoga Center (formerly N.U.Yoga Center) has been serving the Chicagoland area since 1984, directed by Suddha Weixler. We offer classical Hatha, classes in the Iyengar tradition and K.Pattabhi Jois' Ashtanga Yoga. All of our teachers have completed our Yoga Teacher Training Course,(Yoga Alliance registered) which is held annually and let by Suddha Weixler since 1992. Some of the Instructors have studied with BKS Iyengar of Poona, Pattabhi Jois of Myore and Srivatsa Ramaswami of Chennai. We sponsor retreats, workshops with international acclaimed teachers and Yoga vacations in Mexico, Costa Rica, Peru, Guatemala, Italy, Greece, Spain, Switzerland and Austria. Daily classes, private intruction, and 'yoga in your home'(or office) is available. We offer Yoga Teacher Training Courses with Suddha Weixler, Manju Jois, Paulie Zink, Paul Grilley, Srivatsa Ramaswami, Sarah Powers, Rama Jyoti Vernon and Richard Freeman.
