Deanna draws from her background in Hatha, Iyengar, Ashtanga, and Kundalini yoga to create inspiring heart-centered, alignment based classes incorporating creative and often spontaneous sequencing. Her yoga classes consists of classic Hatha yoga asanas (postures) often in vinyasa (a steady flow of postures linked with the breath), Kundalini inspired sets, pranayama (breath-work), mantra (chanting), meditation, and information and awareness on the chakras (energy centers of the body). The fundamentals of yoga asanas: alignment, awareness of breath, balance, strength and flexibility are always emphasized.
