Debra offers Private yoga therapy sessions with over 20 years of experience of teaching yoga to individuals with serious health concerns, including back pain, spine surgery, hip replacement, chronic pain and cancer. In a Mind Body Skills group, participants learn scientifically based techniques and practices that help us cope with stress, life changes and/or chronic illness, in a supportive group setting. These techniques offer tools to deliberately relax, access better health, and improve our attitudes. Skills include expressive writing, drawing, shaking and dancing, imagery, breathing, movement and meditation. Debra also offers workshops for healthcare professionals on MindBody Medicine and the therapeutic applications of Yoga as an adjunct to traditional healthcare.
