Yoga inspires people to live a more balanced life. In yoga we do a series of postures designed to stretch, strengthen and tone muscles while detoxifying the body and calming the mind. What we learn on the yoga mat helps us cope better with our day to day stresses.
People often think you already need to be flexible and strong to do yoga, this is not the case. Many people who come to class could not touch their toes when they started. Flexibility and strength improve with yoga.
Yoga promotes physical and emotional health by reducing stress, weight issues, anxiety, fatigue, aging, migraines, digestive disorders, depression, chronic pain/weakness, grief, arthritis, sleep problems and so much more.
