Yoga Alliance RYS 200 and 500 school. We offer 200, 300 and 500 hour teacher training courses. Our next 200 hour course begins January, 2013. Yoga East is a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization founded in 1974. We have trained over 100 yoga teachers who teach yoga in the U.S. and internationally. We have over 60 classes a week at three locations in Louisville, KY. We offer gentle yoga for seniors, chair yoga, hatha, vinyasa, Ashtanga and Mysore-style Ashtanga taught by a KPJ-AYI Level 2 authorized teacher. Yoga East hosts workshops with David Swenson, Doug Keller, Ramanand Patel, Francois Raoult, Kino MacGregor and other internationally-recognized yoga authorities. All our classes are taught by experienced, certified teachers.
