This class is a mix of Astanga Power, Kriya Hatha and Restorative yoga taught by certified instructor Barbara Ann Burgess (Bhudevi).Doing Astanga Power Yoga is an ideal way to start a fitness program and Kriya Hatha Yoga is about taking action. Both will teach you to work hard and sweat and to rest and recover. This class moves much quicker than a beginner's class and focuses on therapeutic alignment of the mind, body, and spirit. Prior yoga experience preferred, but not necessary. Class meets each Wednesday, 7-8:30p.m. for 5-weeks. New 5-week sessions begin April 7, May 19, June 30, and August 11, 2010.
