Arvinderfee is Yoga Alliance Registered Training with Purna Yoga, Kundalini yoga trained through the AmritNam Sarovar IKYTA with Karta Singh & trained as a Shakti Dance teacher in Italy with the founder Sara Avtar Olivier. She teaches Kundalini Yoga and Shakti Dance from Albany Yoga Room in Auckland.
KUNDALINI YOGA uses a series of movements and breath exercises that create mental and physical endurance, reduce stress, and build core strength. It combines traditional yoga with aerobic sequences and strengthening exercises. Unlike traditional yoga, each exercise is performed for an extended period of time (1-4 minutes) to build strength and endurance. Chanting is used to center our minds and assist with breath exercises. Kundalini is a lifelong practice that has tremendous health benefits. This is great for people who like variety, need low impact exercises that still builds strength, and are looking to reduce stress. Each class is unique, focusing on different muscle groups. 5 week courses run on a Tuesdays at 7.15pm. SHAKTI DANCE - This yoga of dance comes from Kundalini yoga. What it offers is a release of tension and emotional patterns, it reduces stress and increases vitality expanding awareness and increases self-confidence.
