Wednesday September 22 and Wednesday September 29. FREE YOGA CLASSES, 9:30 AM. You do not have to have experience. BEGINNERS ARE WELCOME! Learn the basic Yoga Poses for free during the Yoga Month, at Gold's Gym in Owings Mills. You are not required to purchase any membership and you are also encouraged to bring a friend or family member. Everyone would get a 7-DAY FREE PASS. that means, you can use the gym anytime you wish. But the YOGA is only offered on Wednesday morning. |
Our YOGA class starts with brief relaxation including breathing with the purpose of bring awareness to ourselves and gain control of our mind, and relax. Followed by stretching of the neck, shoulders, arms, back, legs before we start the standing ASANAS (poses). At your own pace. Perhaps a mix of Vinyansa (a little faster to make you sweat and work on your cardio). Design to burn calories and tone your muscles and make you flexible. CORE included (let's work on getting your abs nice and tone). Mild relaxation at the end. Easy and fun but it will leave you tired yet relaxed at the same time.
If you cannot make it on Wednesdays, 9:30 AM, call us and let us know what days are best for you, as we are in the process of coordinating more hours and days.
Mats are provided or you may bring your own. Bring a bottle of water. Towel. You should have a very light breakfast at least 1 1/2 hour before coming. Drink plenty of water the day before.
