A little patience is required. One of my Yoga teachers has three favourite words: “practice-practice-practice!”. With progress, besides changes to the body (relief of aches and pains, more energy, firmer muscles, regular heart-rate etc) you will experience an inner transformation. Stress lessens and thoughts become calmer and more rational. Stressful situations can be handled more rationally and with a clearer perspective. Many, after embracing the wellbeing that Yoga offers, choose to change their lifestyle and opt for a healthier way of life in the future.
Yoga can lead to a kind of “skinning” and is a good way to be in the “moment”. With regular practice we are able to rid our minds from anger, disappointment and fears and find our inner self and freedom.
