Liz Owen is an inspired and passionate yoga teacher. She has taught since 1990 and is known for her light-hearted presentation styleas well as for the depth of her knowledge.Liz has studied Iyengar, Classical Hatha and Vinyasa yoga extensively for over 25 years and presents alignment-based yoga practice as a tool for well-being and healthy living. Her articles entitled Yoga for Chronic Pain, Yoga for Emotional Balance, Restorative Yoga, and Yoga for Your Workday have been published on Beliefnet.com, the National Magazine Award-winning faith and inspiration website. Liz is co-author of an NIH-funded study at Boston University Medical Center studying yoga as a healing modality for depression. She teaches weekly classes in Arlington and Cambridge, Massachusetts and has presented workshops throughout New England and beyond, notably at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Wellness, at Yoga Journal Conferences, and at the 2011 Yoga Alliance Leadership Conference.
