I was first drawn to yoga when working in London. For some reason the idea of yoga niggled at me although something in me still resisted. Eventually though, I wandered into a yoga studio and shortly afterwards attended my first class. It was not quite the love affair I had expected, yet something kept me going back and trying new things. About six months into my sporadic practice I suffered an incredibly intense trauma. After which I spent time with a variety of therapists, yet it was yoga that remained my life buoy. Fast forward several years and it was that experience which made me realise how transformative this practice is, how it has changed my life for the better and how it will continue to do so, especially if I follow the path of svadhyaya or self study. I wandered into an Anusara class because it fitted my schedule and it blew me away. Since then I haven't looked back, embracing each new training experience open to me and opening myself up to new possibilities. My life has completely changed since I started on this path and I offer special thanks to all my teachers. I have completed over 300 hours of training (and counting!) and a member of the Independent Yoga Network. Teaching is an extension of my own practice, an offering, I do it for the service of my community and to extend the light within me out to all those I meet. I my overall aim is for people to feel better about themselves after participating in one of my classes. I live and work in the Watford area in Hertfordshire. Namaste
