All the retreats of YIS - Yoga In Salento, an international not for profit organization, are hosted in the 100% solar powered organic farm named Agricola Samadhi. YIs organizes residential yoga retreats, workshops and teacher trainings. It has two wide yoga rooms with wooden heated floors: one can fit up to 50 people the other up to 30 people. YIS hosts each year international teachers. Agricola Samadhi has a wide park, with gazebos, vegetables and fruit gardens, olive groves, a wide swimming pool and massage rooms. It can host up to 45 people and for wider groups there are B&Bs at walking distance. The cuisine is organic and vegetarian, prepared every day with fresh seasonal ingredients. There is a children yoga shala, playground room with wooden floor and a kinder garden outdoor area and children are under the guidance of specialized workers. Agricola Samadhi is located in Salento, the heel of the Italian boot. A beautiful area; the closest city is Lecce, just 10 minutes car ride, the closest beaches are just 15 km away. The closest airport is Brindisi. We offer daily ashtanga yoga classes all year long.
