K-Lea Gifford is a second-generation Yoga instructor. She started practicing in 1983 and began training in the Iyengar method in 1990. K-Lea has studied in Pune with the Iyengars several times and is certified at the Junior Intermediate Level 2. She is a certified Advanced Alaya Process Practitioner (a body-oriented transpersonal therapy) and a meditation student under Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche. K-Lea currently cultivates her organic growing dome and teaches Yoga in Durango, Colorado at Fort Lewis College. K-Lea teaches classes for all levels from new beginners to advanced practitioners and teachers. She enjoys instructing special needs classes such as pregnancy, restorative, and back care classes. She teaches retreats and workshops in the United States and Canada, specifically Hollyhock in British Columbia.
