Birchwood Center

Birchwood Center houses three beautiful, fully equipped yoga studios and a quiet sanctuary for healing massage. A full schedule of classes, held seven days a week, morning, afternoon, and evening for all ages and levels, take place in an immaculate, sunlit studio with views of the Hudson River. Private sessions are also available. Special events are presented monthly.

Dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for self discovery, Birchwood Center is committed to promoting awareness of regular yoga practice and massage as tools for healthful living. We offer Vinyasa Yoga,Hatha Yoga, Gentle Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Prenatal Yoga, Yoga for Kids, Meditation. All levels of experience welcome.

Teacher Training: Birchwood Center Level I Yoga Teacher Training aims to produce quality yoga instructors who are creative in their teaching and committed to the practice and understanding of yoga as a way of life. The seven month, 200-hour program includes over 180 contact hours of lecture and experiential instruction with teachers Betsy Ceva, Charlene Bradin, Julie Lifton and others. Graduating students who successfully meet all the requirements receive a 200-hour certification and will be prepared to teach a basic level I yoga class
