The Oxford Centre for Hindu Studies is a recognised independent Centre of Oxford University, which is globally renowned for its standards of academic excellence and achievement. Each term we offer a range of online courses that explore various facets of Indian religion. For the upcoming term, starting in October, we will be offering a course in the 'Philosophy of Yoga', which will provide a detailed study of the background to Yoga practice, including discussion of texts such as the Upanishads, Bhagavad-gita and Yoga Sutras as well as the Tantric traditions and the main works on Hatha Yoga. The course is detailed, thorough and exhaustive and provides a complete overview of the subject area in line with the academic standards of Oxford University. Further details can be found on the Centre's website, www.ochs.org.uk, by following the Continuing Education link to online courses.
