Our Yoga classes are part of an overall program of wellness and fitness. The yoga practice is rooted in Hatha, but varies class to class, as each group that gathers to practice is unique. I base my classes on the belief that breath and movement in, through and out of asanas helps us to make sense of life by opening to the intelligence and wisdom of body and breath, and then, as one's practice deepens, there is no need to make sense of life- there is being in it. Most classes are beginner level- introducing yoga to those who have been fearful, or feel that they can not do it. They come to find that there is no such thing as not being able to.
