Yogshakti is a resource centre for holistic healing systems. In addition to regular classes in Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga, Meditation and Breathing for all ability levels, we run workshops and talks on health, well-being, and vegetarian cookery. Yogshakti is located off Jalan Ampang behind Ampwalk mall, and caters to over 400 students. The centre uses ancient time-tested techniques: never more relevant than in this day and age. Yoga is highly beneficial for general health and fitness, and can be helpful for specific ailments. We have helped clients with insomnia, migraine, asthma, back aches, constipation, gastritis and other problems. At the centre, these problems are addressed not just through Yoga and breathing techniques, but also through nutritional advice and other forms of physical therapy. The centre is managed by Ms Shilpa Ghatalia, who has had extensive training and guidance from well-known masters.
