I was a professional dancer in Boston, MA, and New York City for 15 years and along with ballet class, I practiced yoga. Studying dance, yoga and pilates as well as music has always inspired and fascinated me. As a classically trained dancer, I was taught the principles of functional anatomy and movement flow and I emphasize these principles in my yoga class. I teach a Vinyasa Yoga class that is energetic with a flowing sequence of postures while practicing proper alignment and attention to breath. Gentle Beginning, Beginning and Level 2 Classes available. Private and Semi-private classes also available. I started teaching yoga in 1996 at Atmananda Yoga Center in New York City.
