Fuerza means strength in Spanish. The yoga classes offered are meant to cultivate strength of the body, mind, and spirit. Through mindfully moving one’s body through asanas (poses) muscles are strengthened, attention is focused on the present moment, and one is able to bring full awareness to their state of mind and body. A focused yoga practice will cultivate flexibility, balance, and attention in addition to improving one’s overall psychological and physiological wellness. All ages, levels of experience, and body types are embraced. Modifications will be provided for beginning yogis and more advanced yogis in order to meet individual needs. Classes will be mix of vigorous movements, held poses and breath work depending on the session.
