We're a small group of yoga teachers in Scotland trained in the step-by-step approach to traditional yoga practice systematized by Swami Satyananda Saraswati - also known as the Bihar School of Yoga. Including but moving far beyond asanas or bodily postures, it teaches an integrated approach to all the yoga pathways. A typical class will include some chanting, asanas, pranayama, mudras, bandhas and yoga nidra, progressing to meditation practice in due course. We also teach the hatha yoga cleansing practices when appropriate.
