“Abandon nothing. Take up nothing. Rest, abide in yourself, just as you are.” Abhinavagupta (AD 950-1020 ˜)
Qualification: Yoga Teachers Diploma (NHC Dip Yoga). 20 years experience as a student. 2 and a half years of therapy specific work experience. 6 years general teaching experience. I teach people from all kinds of backgrounds. I have worked for the NHS, part-time in a secure mental facility and have also worked within the Indian community teaching the over 60s. I really enjoy the challenges that these situations present. I teach a wide range of styles from restorative yoga, meditation, pranyama to vinyasa (flow) yoga. I also teach one to one sessions for people who are either not yet confident enough to attend a class, or who just prefer a more relaxed environment. I also teach one-to-one yoga therapy.
I am a member of the Independant Yoga Network and my classes are a mixture of asana, meditations, sound bath, pranayama, mantra and FUN!
