Hacienda del Sol is a beautiful rustic retreat center located on the remote Guanacaste Peninsula of Costa Rica, where the ocean meets the jungle. What started in 1995 as the home to The Kootenay School of Rebalancing Massage School has grown into a vibrant yoga, detox juice cleansing retreat center with 8 acres of largely undeveloped land, 1 open-air yoga studio, a raw food/vegetarian kitchen, and a dedicated detox center. Hacienda del Sol offers 7 -14 day juice cleansing and detox retreats, surf yoga retreats, yoga teacher trainings, raw food classes, mediation retreats, and other transformational programs. Guests come to cleanse, deepen their practice, reconnect with their bodies and with nature – renewing their Spirit and emerging from their stay stronger, healthier and revitalized.
