Expanding and growing into the radiance of life, Living Bhakti is about teaching, guiding and sharing the sacred teachings of the wise. Company Overview Maria is dedicated to a life-long study, practice, and teaching of both Yoga and Ayurveda. Blending years of academic and graduate study in Biology, Biomedical Science, Philosophy and Education along with Ayurveda, Yoga and yearly trips to India, Maria creates unique workshops, teacher trainings and retreats that encompass all sides of her studies. Maria’s teachings offer a grounded, clear yet dynamic and transformative approach to living, being, and embodying Yoga. Maria has been published in various sources including Yoga Journal, Real Simple, BeWell, and regional publications as well as a featured presenter at Vancouver and Toronto Yoga Conferences. In addition to her studies at Hood College & Chestnut Hill College, she has completed programs at both the Kripalu School of Ayurveda and the world-renowned Ayurvedic Institute with Dr. Vasant Lad. Currently, Maria is on faculty at the Ayurvedic Institute in the Ayuryoga department as well as the Teacher Training Director for Shiva Rea’s Samudra School for Living Yoga. She also serves as the Yoga Director for Ananda Shala in Frederick Maryland.
