Fernanda’s classes begin with breathing techniques to focus the mind; ease into gentle stretches and movements to release tension in the outer body; move into sun salutations to build heat; and continue on to standing poses, and hip openers amongst others; and finally to resting poses in order to integrate your practice more deeply into your body and spirit. You can expect to sweat in her class, thereby expelling toxins and re-energizing the body. The focus on breath will also relax the mind and release any blocked energy to flow more freely through the body. These classes are invigorating and powerful, helping you build strength and flexibility as you connect to your core, your mind, your heart, and your spirit.
