Certified yoga instructor Mickey Hartung has been teaching self-understanding, acceptance and awareness through the practices of yoga and meditation since 1998. Emphasizing a contemplative and non-competitive approach, her classes are an eclectic blend of conscious breathing, deep stretching and posture flow; restorative yoga (deeply relaxing poses of stillness using the support of props); yin yoga (which targets the connective tissue in the joints); and mindfulness meditation. The classes, which are offered year round, are mixed level and appropriate for every body. Mondays 6-7:30pm, Tuesday 7-8:30pm & Wednesday 10-11:30am.
