Clarity Yoga: Level 1 yoga course on Saturday mornings September 2015
The course will develop your practice and understanding of the fundamentals of yoga in a supportive and friendly group class with a calm, experienced teacher. It includes the careful and creative sequencing of postures, and breath and meditation techniques. Students of all ages and different starting points are very welcome, including complete beginners. The lessons aim to give you the space away from busy life to focus on your body, breath and mind, leaving you feeling relaxed and energised.
The 6 week course is in the Viniyoga style and focuses on:
*Practising primary postures with appropriate breath patterns. *Developing knowledge of how to sequence postures in a logical way. *Using simple breath and meditation techniques. *A personalised approach: small group size, students work at their own pace and poses are adapted for individual needs. *Wisdom from yoga teachings to inspire our approach to practice and daily life. *Supporting materials are provided for home practice. *The classes provide a strong foundation, from which a range of physical and mental benefits may be experienced such as improved posture, flexibility and strength; increased breath awareness and energy; and greater mental concentration and calm. *Yoga mats and blocks are available.
