Known as the Yoga Lady®, Mara Carrico has an extensive background in dance, movement therapy, bodywork, and has been teaching yoga since 1971. Mara is the author of two books: Yoga Journal’s Yoga Basics, and Fitness Yoga, commissioned by the American Council on Exercise. She choreographed and scripted Jane Fonda’s Yoga Exercise Workout video. Mara is also the designer of the YOGA WORK-IN® practice routines -- a CD series created for use at home, office and travel.
