Our classes are a combination of "asanas" (poses), "pranayama" (breathing practices), Chanting, Yoga Nidra (deep relaxation) and Meditation. We offer: BEGINNERS YOGA/MIXED LEVEL for new students and those who want a gentler pace. It includes an overwiew of Yoga benefits and philosophy, and a gradual way to learn the poses in a gentle pace. CONTINUING YOGA, is the continuation to "Beginners Yoga", introducing more poses and a deeper experience of each of them, more meditation and other aspects of yoga, such as "raja yoga". PHOENIX RISING YOGA THERAPY, a mind-body one-on-one assisted yoga session that can help address physical, emotional and mental issues, from stress and negative habits (overeating, smoking, etc) to chronic disease (cancer, arthritis, etc), trauma, addictions, sexual abuse and PTSD, among others.
