Kelly's classes are primarily taught at the Pacific Cultural Institute and at the Om Room, in Santa Cruz. Kelly began studying Iyengar Yoga in 1989, and completed the Mt. Madonna Teacher Training in 1997. Her practice has been shaped deeply by her study with her beloved teacher Kofi Busia, to whom she is grateful for teaching her patience and faith. While her style of teaching depends on what springs up each moment, Iyengar is her primary influence. She is deeply inspired and enlivened by the practice of Yoga, which is infectious to her students. Her constant reminder is: Watch the mind, focus on the uninterrupted flow of the breath, and delight in the Great Web of Being. Kelly provides ample personalized attention and adjustment, addressing the concerns of individuals while guiding the class in a deep and transformative practice. She also leads retreats to Hawaii, Costa Rica and Mexico.
