Mindful Yoga taught in an eclectic style with emphasis on meditation in movement, inner awareness of breath, and alignment. Classes show influence from Iyengar style yoga as well as the Buddha's Mindfulness teachings. Beginner I Tuesday morning 9 - 10:30 and Beginner II Thursday morning 9 - 10:30 at Kent Athletic and Wellness Center. Beginner I classes focus on preparatory poses while Beginner II students work into more of the formal postures. Call KAWC at 410-778-3148 for more information. Senior classes at Amy Lynn Ferris Center: Chair class Monday (9:00- 10:10); beginner I class Monday (10:20- 11:30) Free intermediate class Wednesday night at Emmanuel Church across from the Fountain Park 5:15-6:45. A suggested donation of $2-3 for the rental of the space is appreciated. This is my most difficult class. Students work at their own level adapting poses to their ability if needed.
