Barbara's classes are gentle yet challenging, empowering yet non-competitive. She has a gift for teaching both the physical and spiritual aspects of yoga addressing the body, mind and heart of each student with a sense of openness and joy. Yoga Ma, as she is affectionately called by her students, also offers Wild Yoga, wilderness hiking and yoga in the forest in Santa Fe and other retreat locations. Participants range from groups to individuals seeking rest and renewal in exotic locations and in the forest locally, where she has a retreat cabin that can be rented for short or long periods. Retreatants have the option of her guidance on the trail systems as well as for personalized sessions of yoga and meditation.
