I offer a safe environment that is focused on each student. I have small class sizes that allow me to do this. I supply
a variety of props so that no matter what your flexibility or strength level is you can be challenged with a pose at your level with no strain. I want each student to feel comfortable in the class as well as with me as their teacher. I also want to teach you the correct pose that will most benefit you and I take the time to correct you and walk you through verbal adjustments and/or show you so that you will be able to get into a pose correctly and safely.
The style of Hatha yoga we practice combines attention to physical alignment with a life-affirming philosophy. At
the heart of this philosophy is Attitude. Attitude speaks to “Opening to Grace”. The ability to open your heart will allow you to look for the good not only in yourself, but in all people and situations you face in life. This connection and openness remains with you even after you step off the Yoga mat and into your everyday life.
