I am a Certified Yoga Instructor, teaching since 2006. I continue my education by keeping current with several yoga
conferences, intensives and workshops, and draw from a variety of yoga styles and inspiring teachers. In addition to teaching adults in group and private classes, I also enjoy teaching playful yoga to children. I teach in many venues, different ages, abilities and levels. Yoga is for everybody, and the benefits are many!

Yoga classes are free and open to the public, and generally service our guests, residents, and the members of our residency program. We offer 200-hour and 500-hour Yoga Teacher Trainings, a three-month residential service learning program (Yoga, Service, and Community), personal retreats and programs throughout the year. classes tapping the wellspring of Indian tradition, with emphasis on mindfulness and meditative embodiment of principles from philosophical foundations of the Yoga tradition. Classes often include Sanskrit chanting and we explore pranayama in each class to become established in the body-mind mandala. Asanas are taught in the Vinyasa method (linkage between postures, mindfulness in movement, breathing)and in the Iyengar style: longer-held postures investigating the linkages between anatomy, alignment, subtle body, philosophy and self-inquiry.
