The Center for Sacred Movement is a community-based organization providing opportunities to enjoy greater health and
well-being, move your body, connect with nature, meet new people and have fun! The Center offers activities and services such as Yoga Classes, free Nature Hikes & Walks, Adventure Retreats, Workshops, Integrative Wellness Coaching and Life Coaching.
Prana Flow Yoga utilizes asanas (poses), pranayama (breathing exercises), greater alignment, body awareness, and creative, energizing movements to help you experience greater physical health, emotional well-being, mental clarity, and a deep connection with your inner light.

Our aim is to provide a firmly grounded education in the art and science of yoga, and to provide people with experiences
that are profoundly valuable to their lives. One of our core values is that yoga is relevant to everyone, regardless of size, shape, race, age, health condition, etc... and that there is a great opportunity for anyone of sincere interest to feel the vigor, joy and deep peace that this science provides.
Our curriculum is based on the prolific work of yoga pioneer, T. Krishnamacharya, and his world renowned students B.K.S. Iyengar, K. Pattabhi Jois, and TKV Desikachar. One of the themes applied by Krishnamacharya so masterfully was his ability to work with each student on an individual basis, thereby meeting people at their own specific level of need, and consistently helping people heal through yoga. His truly riveting depth and brilliance cannot be given justice here, yet is directly evidenced in the giant accomplishments of a handful of his students. Mr. Iyengar, Mr. Jois, and Mr. Desikachar, among others, have all been able to take what was given them and literally affect the entire world, spreading inner peace and self-reliance on a mass scale. That said, our curriculum is rooted in the tireless work of these yogis. We teach as our teachers have taught us, and to the best of our ability, we research and explore in our own personal practices to offer you a foundation in yoga that is sustainable and forged from direct experience.
I teach an ancient form of yoga, traditionally called Raja (Raj) yoga, a meditative form that includes mindful, pranayama
with movement. Breath is the bridge between your mind and your body, and so it is my intention to bring you back through the practice of Hatha Yoga combined with Meditative Yoga so that you will remember the essence of your sacred sprit. As your breathing improves, your body becomes leaner and more flexible, your mind will also reflect this sense of expansion. Through these ancient practices, you will find yourself opening up to infinite possibilities as you learn The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success as taught by Drs. Deepak Chopra and David Simon. Our clean and light space includes a large studio, changing/restrooms and a welcoming reception area with bamboo floors throughout. Our goal is to provide a beautiful, clean and inspiring place for your practice, with exceptional instruction by our thoughtful teachers.
