More than being just great exercise, Yoga is a way of life that teaches Kids the ancient system of practice which focuses postures/asanas along with healthy food styles for the body, breathing & relaxation techniques for the mind, concentration exercises for the intellect and meditation for the soul. It encourages kids to play, connect more deeply with their inner self, and develop a receptive relationship to the natural world around them. As a yoga instructor and psychotherapist, I am available for private sessions, and I also offer a variety of classes
for different needs and levels of practice. I facilitate a monthly support group for mothers which begins with an open discussion and ends with a gentle, restorative yoga practice.
In addition, I teach vinyasa flow designed to challenge and strengthen the intermediate/advanced student, and I offer a prenatal class suitable for all trimesters of pregnancy, as well as for women who are returning to yoga after giving birth.
I am a 200-HR RYT Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance. Hatha Flow, Vinyasa and Gentle Yoga are my specialties.
I also enjoy teaching Restorative & Yin Yoga, Pre-Natal and Yoga Basics. My background in studies relative to Yoga include a Minor in Holistic Health and Academic Certificate in Holistic Health Studies with emphasis in Eastern Perspectives of Health. I teach weekly at Mind Body Zone in Fremont, CA and substitute for both corporate and small businesses. I reside in the East Bay Area and am available for private instruction.

Metta Journeys raises money and awareness for organizations doing important work around the globe on behalf of women
and girls. Our Engaged Yoga and Philanthropic journeys take intimate groups of participants (20-25 people) to various locations around the world to interact with our partner organizations and those they support.
