Cecily’s first experience with yoga was in 1986 when she attended a class at the Ananda Center in Sacramento. She attended classes in yoga postures, stress reduction, and meditation. Having undergone a stressful childhood and physical illness she was amazed at how yoga helped her to find peace and remain calm during stressful times.
After studying at the Ananda Center, Cecily began studying with different teachers and different yoga styles. Her search led her to Iyengar yoga. Iyengar focuses on precise alignment in the poses and educates you to have a strong and flexible body as you age.

Welcome to Sacramento Yoga's Non Profit Yoga Studio!
All of our classes are Donation Based. In-studio we offer 8-Limbed Vinyasa, Power Vinyasa, Yin, Yin Yang, Hatha, as well as Yoga para Todos (Yoga en Espanol), All Bodies (A class for overweight, injured or disabled), and Mental Freedom. We offer mats, props, water and towels free of charge.
We aren't just in the studio. You may see us in schools, parks, recovery centers, at events and many other places. All of our efforts in-studio go out to support our Outreach Program, teaching to many local non-profits to increase the number of people in Sacramento that have access to yoga. Join us!
Private and Semi-Private Vinyasa and Yin Style Yoga.
Why Private Yoga? Traditionally, yoga has been taught one-on-one. This allows the teacher to meet the student where they are. Private sessions are a great way to introduce you to yoga, deepen an already strong practice, or guide you in a safe practice if you have mobility challenges. Set in the privacy of your home or office, your practice will be taken at your own pace with special attention paid to your alignment so that you may expand your practice; my hope is that you walk away feeling centered, grounded and ready to take on the rest of the day.
$70/hour (private) $100/hour (semi-private - up to 4 individuals)
