200 Hr. Yoga Teacher Training.
6 month Program includes:
27 weeks of asana and Sutra classes – & 6 weekend intensives
as well as workshops with guest speakers. Class size will be limited to 8 students to give an exceptional Teacher Training Experience! Lots of time for personal attention. Every Wednesday evening from 6:30 pm – 10:00 pmstarting on January 9, 2013 and ending on graduation date of July 10th (27 weeks). If cancellations occur because of inclement weather conditions, the weekly Wednesday class is pushed out to the next week.
6 Weekend Intensives once a month with workshops and/or guest speakers. Each Weekend Intensive starts with a Yoga Class on both Saturday and Sunday. Weekend Intensives hours for both days: 8:30 am - 6:00 pm (your books can be kept in the studio on Saturday night)
• Jan 26 & 27 - Intensive #1 - no workshops in this intensive as we will be going over a lot of asana and full schedule of other required topics. • Feb 23 & 24 - Intensive #2, includes Kirtan with Shubalananda and Yoga Therapy & Meditation in Motion Workshop with "Mimi" Michelle Strzelewicz, 200 E-RYT • March 23 & 24 - Intensive #3, includes Connecting to the Core Workshop with Jennifer Driscoll, 200 RYT and Restorative Yoga Workshop with Mimi • April 20 & April 21 - Intensive #4, Your Body Speaks Your Mind, Body Mapping & Releasing Emotional Blocks with Mimi Strzelewicz, 200 E-RYT • May 18 & 19 - Intensive #5, which also includes Power Yoga and Yoga Flows/Sequencing Workshop with Jennifer Driscoll, 200 RYT and Yoga Nidra with Mimi • June 29 & 30 - Intensive #6, includes Yin Yoga Workshop with Jennifer Songer, 200 RYT and Barefoot Cardio Yoga~Lattes Workshop with Mimi
Certified Kripalu Yoga Teacher. Moderate Kripalu Yoga classes suitable for beginner as well as intermediate students.
Chair Yoga classes designed especially for people who have difficulty getting down and up from the floor. All classes are on-going, year round, pay as you go. Fee: Moderate Yoga $10.00 per class. Kaleena has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, which she pursued out of her desire to help people who needed guidance.
Following the birth of her second child she took her first yoga class and was hooked from day one. After personally discovering and benefiting from the powers of yoga, she decided that this was a amazing path and wanted to share and guide others along they're own journey . Kaleena earned her 200 hour Certified Yoga Teacher credential from A New Day Yoga, Affiliate of Finding Inner Peace. She is also CPR certified. She hopes to bring what she has and continues to learn so as to improve the health and well being of others.

Nancy Alder is a 200H E-RYT who shares her yoga in the Northeastern corner of Connecticut. Nancy’s approach blends
what she has learned from her teachers Anne and Matt Falkowski of Samadhi Yoga Studio, Cheri Clampett and Arturo Peal, Sadie Nardini, Leslie Kaminoff, Anna Guest-Jelley, Jillian Pransky and Joe Barnett along with her own personal yoga practice. She is certified in Therapeutic Yoga, Curvy Yoga , Yin Yoga and is studying Restorative Yoga. She is co-founder of the Connecticut Therapeutic Yoga Center. Her classes are a blend her different trainings with a ton of laughter, community and heart. The emphasis she places on safety, strength and breath allows her classes to be accessible to students of all levels of yoga. She reminds students to find their wings by through acceptance, understanding and appreciating their own boundaries as gifts. Encouraging students to step away from the shazam and into their own space with dashes of humor and honesty sets her classes apart from others.
Nancy regularly writes about yoga for the nationally recognized yoga blogs YogaDork and Elephant Journal and her work has also been featured on MindBodyGreen, Gaiam, Sweeping Zen, Intent and Recovering Yogi. She is the co-founder of Teachasana, the first site for yoga teachers by yoga teachers. Her quest for finding yoga in all aspects of her life is chronicled in her popular blog, Flying Yogini. She has been featured twice in Origin Magazine’s “Inspire Series” and her yoga projects have been highlighted by Yoga Journal‘s online blog.
