Cristin developed 'ahimsa yoga' because she
believes so deeply in the fusion of yoga and compassion which she incorporates at every level of her practice and teachings. She wants to be part of global change by helping others develop their coping skills so that we, as a community, operate from a place of compassion, kindness, and peace. The capacity to engage with, and embrace, the world with love starts from within. Cristin hopes to help develop that capacity in each person whose mat she is blessed to come in contact with.
All-Levels Ahimsa Vinyasa Yoga is a vinyasa flow yoga steeped in compassion and kindness while encouraging individuals to safely challenge themselves within their comfort zone. Classes are set to music and a warm environment while modifications are taught for each asana. Beginners through advanced yogis all benefit while practicing side by side, inspiring and sharing the energy and wisdom of each other.

Mother/Daughter Yoga: Reclaiming and Celebrating the Sacred Feminine
Join Johanna and her 11-year old daughter Emelie
for this four class series for mothers* and their daughters, ages 9 and up, who are curious about yoga and/or wish to deepen their practice together from a feminine perspective. The classes are both playful and mindful and each class is presented within a theme. We will explore different aspects of yoga such as different asanas (postures), partner-poses, restorative yoga, sun-salutations, female health issues and the blossoming body, meditation, pranayama (breathing) and chanting. This smorgasbord of practices nurtures and promotes an overall sense of well-being and inner peace, body awareness, strength, flexibility, self-esteem, and stress reduction. Most importantly, the special time we spend together seeks to deepen and honor the sacred in the precious relationship between mother and daughter creating a legacy of physical and emotional health. *(Grandmothers, Aunties, Mother-In-Laws or Mother Friend is also welcome!)

yoga, dance and martial arts training principles. Tim starts his classes helping people do pull-ups, then everyone does 2 sets of push-ups before the sun salutation sequences. I have been a devoted yogi for 14+ years and have completed the 200 hour AYA certified Camp Yoga training program.
