This is a donation class. We believe yoga needs to be available to all, so pay what you can.

This class is designed as a support to help you during your pregnancy. You will learn breath meditations and relaxation

When I land back home sometime in February, I am planning on being available to teach individual private or class Yoga Nidra sessions in my home studio in Martinez, California again, as well as from anywhere in the world via Skype.
Classes include warm-ups, basic postures, breathing techniques, and Yoga Nidra meditation in a safe, supportive environment or online via Skype. Students will be guided in developing awareness and Self-knowledge to maintain optimal health and Spiritual harmony, allowing a deep transformation beyond the body and mind to occur through the practice of Yoga Nidra.
Tess Ryan (formerly known as Teresa Brumfield) has been a student of yoga and yogic philosophy since 1993. She was trained and certified at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Lenox, MA and taught for five years in Wilmington and Newark, Delaware. In August of 2005, she moved her teaching practice to Northern California and has been successfully teaching in Contra Costa County for six years. Tess teaches beginner to intermediate levels of yoga with a focus on Yoga Nidra, blending her training and personal experience into her own unique style.
Tess is committed to her own personal growth; educationally, spiritually and professionally, and to bringing safety, compassion, support and love to her students.

Kristy Vicari is a certified Nutritionist and Yoga Teacher, and a certified and highly trained and experienced Doula
and Childbirth Educator. She received her certification as a Nutrition Consultant from Bauman College (IET) in the year of 2000. The first two of her six yoga certifications started in that same year. She continues on the path of her yoga education; always finding that there is more to learn and incorporate into her own life as well as her classes. Her journey as a professional doula began with her first of several certifications from DONA in 2004. She is continuing with her trainings as a birth and post partum doula, childbirth educator and infant massage instructor and attaining skills from her life as a mother as well. As a Doula Kristy provides support for pregnant and laboring mothers and for transitioning families after the birth of their baby. She helps mamas cope with the changes and challenges that pregnancy brings, helps prepare the mother and partner for parenthood, and helps plan and implement the kind of birth they desire. During a mamas labor she is a constant calm presence and provides encouragement, emotional support, physical comfort measures, and an objective viewpoint. She truly believes in a woman's ability to birth her baby. Kristy also teaches childbirth preparation classes to expectant mothers and their partners. Kristy teaches yoga throughout the East Bay area and has been a student of yoga for over 14 years. Her training background in yoga is very diverse and extensive. She presently teaches a very individualized class based in Anusara Yoga, which weaves together exploration, awareness, opening and alignment of the mind and body. She also teaches therapeutic classes to restore and rejuvenate the being as well as Prenatal and ‘Mommy and Me’ Yoga classes. . It is her compassion, insight, and desire to heal that make her a unique and extraordinary practitioner.
Irina has completed It's Yoga 200-Hour Teacher Training program and is certified through Yoga Alliance.
as a sensible communicator, compassionate instructor and creative thinker, Irina is known for her vibrant energy and friendly approach. Irina’s classes are focused on syncing movement with breath as a form of mindful, moving meditation and making the practice accessible to everyone. Set up a personalized or group class to give you whatever you need! We will through an hour or 75 minute class that
can be held at your home, local park or anywhere we can fit our yoga mats. We will warm up the body for the first half of class with flowing movements that are synced to the breath. The second half will be longer held poses. There may be a little bit of sweat but you'll leave feeling relaxed and ready to enjoy the rest of your day.
