Specializing in Developing a Safe & Personalized Yoga Practice. I received my training and 200 and 500 hour teaching
certification through the Himalayan Institute of Yoga Science and Philosophy. Attention to breath forms the foundation in my classes: all movement and exploration flow from this starting point.
Yoga is unity of perception and I teach yoga as a tool with which to observe and commune with inner thoughts, habits and feelings. I encourage mindful holds with attention to the breath in poses to support exploration of the spaces within your body and to facilitate an environment of openness to oneself.
Having personally utilized the healing aspects of yoga for body, mind and spirit, I offer a unique and empirical perspective to her students. I see and meet you where you are in your new or existing practice and can work with you on specific needs or concerns involving your asana, mediation, relaxation or lifestyle concerning yoga.

Yoga of Joy has its roots in Vajrayana tradition and is a practice of a transmitted teaching with its own particular
origin and heritage. Its systematic effects reach every part of the body, including the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems, endocrine secretions, major organs, circulation through blood and qi vessels, down to the glandular and cellular level. It starts at the coarse level and penetrates to subtler levels, into the fineness of the 72,000 meridians and the seven chakras, producing and propagating quantum waves, transmitting information from advanced sources of consciousness.
