In Kundalini Yoga we use exercise, stretches, breathing, meditation, mantras, and mudras to activate the Kundalini,
the energy of your awareness. I usually teach weekly classes on different themes like prenatal yoga, heart-opening, creativity, prosperity, chakra exploration and more. I also teach a fun class called the Chakra Dancing Playshop. Private lessons for individual students or small groups are available as well. I teach in Tallahassee. I also teach workshops at New Leaf Market co-op. I currently teach seated yoga to the elderly on Fridays at 11am at the Senior Center.
Ellen Shapiro and Gretchen Hein are co-owners of Namaste Yoga in Tallahassee. Both teach several classes each week,
and also offer retreats and special classes. Ellen is certified as a yoga therapist, and is also a psychologist in private practice who incorporates the principles of yoga into her work with clients. We have diverse and talented teachers.
