The Yoga Center of Cape Cod, located on Historic Route 6A in East Dennis, Massachusetts, opened in October of 1998.
The goal of the Yoga Center is to offer a place where people and instructors can come together and share their knowledge. The Yoga Center of Cape Cod is a place where all can participate in a safe environment for their healing physically, mentally and spiritually.
Our Yoga classes are part of an overall program of wellness and fitness. The yoga practice is rooted in Hatha, but
varies class to class, as each group that gathers to practice is unique. I base my classes on the belief that breath and movement in, through and out of asanas helps us to make sense of life by opening to the intelligence and wisdom of body and breath, and then, as one's practice deepens, there is no need to make sense of life- there is being in it. Most classes are beginner level- introducing yoga to those who have been fearful, or feel that they can not do it. They come to find that there is no such thing as not being able to.

Tricia's signature style of teaching is working with injuries and postural habits that limit range of motion, helping students find a deeper way into their practice. She gladly works with young, elders, pregnancy. A Light heartedness, a focus to detail & anatomy, a commitment to the practice and teaching of yoga. The inner asana explored as well as outer poses'symmetry. Tricia welcomes people w "limitations" and supports them through transitions, utilizing a broad network within her community that is outstanding.
