I am a senior Prajna Yoga teacher under the tutelage of Tias Little. I am also an endorsed Insight Yoga and mentor
in the Insight Yoga Institute with Sarah Powers. My approach is varied and specific for each individual's needs. I practice many styles with a sensitive approach for what is most skillful in any given season, day or moment. I've been a practitioner of yoga since 1988 and teaching since 1998. Presently I offer weekly classes in my home, plus one in Worcester, MA. In addition to my weekly public class offerings I conduct workshops and master classes at Majestic Yoga studio in Cambridge, MA and Body Kneads Yoga in the Providence area. I am an accredited yoga school with Yoga Alliance offering 200 and 500 hour certification programs around the country and the greater New England area. Located in the small town of Granby, Stretch Yoga and Pilates center is a non-intimidating, friendly and information
sanctuary for releasing stress, depression, and negative feelings. Gayle is knowledgeable, patient, kind and has a sense of humor that helps everyone in feeling comfortable with their practice. She teaches breath (pranyama) asanas (poses) meditation and is trained to teach adaptive yoga to people with life threatening illnesses (Yoga of the Heart). Her pilates classes are very popular (mat 1 and 2). Gayle has signature pilates exercises that you will not find in any other studio or DVD. There is a upper body weights class on Thursday evenings that follows the pilates class.
