I was introduced to yoga at the age of 9. Nearly 3 decades later, I’m still at it, only now I also teach. In 2003,
I was certified to teach yoga at the 200-hour level, and in 2005 during my first pregnancy, I became certified to teach prenatal yoga. I’ve taught yoga during both of my pregnancies and have truly experienced first-hand the difference it makes during this time of a woman’s life. I also enjoy teaching Vinyasa flow which is where I find joy in my own personal practice as well. I teach in the Boston area and am also available for private sessions.

He earned his 200-hour certification at Prajna Yoga with Tias Little in Santa Fe, NM and has studied with many other fine teachers in a number of styles. Jeremy is also a professional actor and voice trainer and brings his love of authenticity, presence, and practice to all of his teaching endeavors.

and prep, then the poses, followed by a deep, lying-down relaxation. Each week the focus is a different body part like tight shoulders, hamstrings, hips, or neck; or a concept like yoga for seasonal allergies, insomnia, to beef up the immune system, etc. Free parking lot in back, short walk from Red Line T at Central, all props provided. Nancy Turnquist is a certified teacher of Iyengar Yoga at the Junior Intermediate II Level. She completed a two year
Iyengar teacher training program with Patricia Walden with whom she continues to study and work with closely. Nancy travels regularly to Pune, India to study with the Iyengar family and spent a year teaching yoga in Spanish and studying with Jordi Mart? at the Center for Iyengar Yoga in Barcelona, Spain. Nancy has a masters degree in literary translation and welcomes Spanish speakers to her classes. Her teaching is inspired by the joy and skill that arise from the practice of yoga.

David teaches a flowing meditative style of hatha yoga. Emphasis is on mindfully allowing the body and breath to reorganize
naturally, optimizing the powerful internal and awareness effects of practice and leading to profound relaxation. Classes with David also feature sitting meditation and yin yoga, deeply nurturing internal stretches that releases tight joints, stimulate the body's energy meridians or nadis, and foster a radiant sense of presence.
Born in Montreal, Canada, David worked for a family banking and real estate enterprise for 20 years before retiring to pursue his life-long interest in yoga and meditation. He holds a 200-hour yoga certification and is currently pursuing his 500-hour yoga certification at the Kripalu Institute of Yoga and Health in Lenox, Massachusetts. David is also certified to teach trauma-sensitive yoga & restorative yoga. He is a co-founder and board member of True North Insight Meditation Center in Quebec, Canada. He teaches mindful hatha yoga in the Greater Boston area and Ontario, Canada. David is a staff yoga teacher at the Trauma Center in Brookline, MA.
