Yoga at Middle River will teach you the asana (yoga poses) but essentially I will guide you back home to yourself thru
the asana using breath awareness and mindfulness. Yoga can be a spiritual practice for some, and for others its a mind body workout, for many its a connection to the inner self. Open yourself up to something greater beyond the yoga poses then you will be doing yoga. Yoga asana will alleviate physical tension patterns and tone the muscle in the body. A regular Yoga practice will restore physical mobility by relieving tension in the neck, back, shoulders, pelvis, lower back. Even the internal organs benefit from yoga. These are common areas of the body we hold tension.
