Our movement classes are taught by caring and knowledgable movement specialists and are offered in a supportive and inspirational environment. Our classes are designed to accommodate your personal needs whether you are seeking a certain type of class, a certain intensity level or particular time of day.

and healing. The practice creates a core opening by releasing the tension in the deepest layers of your body. Dissolving these tensions allow you to live with ease, both within your body and deeper Self.

Our yoga program
is designed to support our concept of community to foster connection to each other and into deeper relationship with ourselves. Some of our classes are offered as multi-level to develop a sense of community. We also offer Yoga 101 (Beginner), Yoga 1/2 (Intermediate), Yoga 2 (Advanced), Multi-Level, Flow/Vinyasa Yoga, Gentle yoga, and specialized workshops throughout the year. We offer yoga with the least possible obstacles, mental, emotional and physical. Two left feet? Haven't seen your feet in years? Fearful of standing on your head? No problem. All are welcome into our community of wellness.
Our teachers lead every class in a supportive way which encourages each student to move to his/her most effective level on that day, in that moment. Welcome to yoga in a non-competitive environment!
I'm a certified yoga teacher, registered with the Yoga Alliance at the 200-hour level. I'm also a member of the International
Association of Yoga Therapists.
I'm passionate about sharing yoga with others to help them relieve pain and live more joyfully. My students learn good alignment, healthy breathing techniques, and how to relax. They also develop a greater awareness of the body-mind connection. In my classes, we laugh, open our bodies, and find peace and rest. I want to engage my students with the idea of having a strong body, sound mind, and open heart.
I've studied extensively with Doug Keller, and will pursue the 500-hour advanced teacher training in 2013.
Olga Campora, PhD., E-RYT 500, a yoga teacher with 35 years of yoga teaching experience, presently living in Maryland.
She teaches yoga around Howard County and Columbia, MD area. Olga is a YogaAlliance.com registered yoga teacher. She holds a Doctorate in Education from Tomas Garrigue Masaryk University in the Czech Republic. After discovering yoga in her native Czechoslovakia, she augmented her studies with courses at The Sivananda International Yoga Institute in Vienna, Austria, from 1983 to 1989. Her deep respect and love for the Iyengar Yoga is clearly evident in her teaching approach. She also specializes in yoga practice for health and healing, working with clients who struggle with anxiety and depression. Olga is certified as LifeForce Yoga® Practitioner Level 1 at LifeForce Yoga® Healing Institute (Yoga for Better Mood Management). Olga's classes focus on posture and movement, highlighting proper alignment techniques and breathing. Her teaching emphasizes empowerment and joy, imbued with a sense of creativity, freedom, humor and fun. She is deeply committed to yoga and her love of yoga is evident in the sense of humor and fun she brings to yoga class. Olga also does a private instruction. Yoga classes are held at Optimal Care Chiropractic in Laurel, MD. Classes are mixed level, but very beginner friendly,
and are designed to facilitate healing in the physical, mental and emotional body. Robin is a RYT 200 with Yoga Alliance, a certified meditation facilitator, a Reiki Master/Teacher, and a certified Thai Foot Reflexology Massage practitioner.
Darlene is certified in Hatha, Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga. She completed her 500hr advanced yoga teacher training,
holds an additional 200 hr certification in Prenatal/Postnatal yoga, and is registered with Yoga Alliance as RYT500. Darlene currently offers classes at The Yoga Center of Columbia and runs "Yoga and Massage for Labor and Birth" workshops about every 6wks alternating between Crofton Yoga and The Yoga Center of Columbia. The workshop provides hands-on, practical techniques for moms-to-be and their partners in preparation for labor and delivery.
Darlene is also a licensed massage therapist with a specific certification in prenatal/postnatal massage. She offers Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release and Pregnancy massage.

Chi Yoga Flow classes offer creative, fluid, and meditative flows that incorporate elements from hatha yoga and Qi
Flow movements, forming a holistic synthesis of meditation in motion. The practice of Chi Yoga awakens conscious concentration and restores the neuro-muscular balance. Conscious breathing in motion calms the mind and invites the experience of presence. Through purposeful selected movement and stretching sequences the energy flow within the meridians can be improved and harmonized. The Flows are put together into a wavelike moving sequence to open the physical as well as the energy body, releasing blockages, inviting new energy to come in, revitalizing your whole being. ?The flows are in alignment with the quality of the seasons as well as the lunar and solar qualities of the day to invite a holistic approach for profound change towards equanimity. Offering beginner and intermediate classes where students are encouraged to cultivate steadiness and ease in each
asana to allow the mind to be calm, quiet, and focused within. Modifications and variations are offered to accommodate students who are relatively newer or more experienced, tight or flexible, strong or weak, healthy or imbalanced. Each class includes Pranayama, Sun Salutations, Standing Poses, Back bends, Forward Bends, Twists, Hip Openers and Balancing Poses. Arm balances and inversions are explored in intermediate classes. If you are not accustomed to moving your body or have been sedentary for awhile as a result of injury or illness, you might want to start with Restorative, Gentle, or Hatha classes. Once you feel more comfortable on the mat you can easily add a more active class, such as All-Levels Vinyasa.
