Founder of Chesapeake Yoga & Wellness, Julie Phillips-Turner discovered yoga and meditation in 1990. 20 years after discovering the benefits of yoga, Julie earned her 200 RYT certification, and continues to pursue yoga therapy education that can help with everyday issues, from anxiety to arthritis, caused by stress, and even grief.
Julie completed her teacher training at Golden Heart Yoga in Annapolis, and practices many styles of yoga, including Para Yoga with Rod Stryker, Boomer Plus Yoga with Amy Kraft.
In addition to a certified yoga instructor, Julie is also holds a Certified Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist certification after studying with Kathryn Templeton through the Himilayan Institue program and a Usui and Karuna Reiki Master to give her a deeper understanding of the needs of her students.

Serenity Bay Yoga is the teaching practice of Lucy Lomax, a Certified Yoga Teacher.
